Long Zipper Pen Case

PLOTTER Long Zipper Pen Case is a minimalistic pen case that allows you to carry just enough essential pens and tools on the go. This extension of the Horse Hair II Leather product series features Toray’s Ultrasuede®, a high-quality suede-like material made from synthetic and plant-derived materials, as the main body of the pen case. One side of the pen case has three full pen loops that hold pens up to 1.5mm in diameter. On the other side is a pocket with a slight gusset to hold more pens, rulers, mechanical pencil lead cases, or other small tools. In addition, this pen case is designed to accommodate longer tools such as pencils, brush pens, and other drawing tools that support PLOTTER’s creations. The ultra-thick but lightweight material gently protects your favorite writing instruments.

On the exterior, a pen holder made of Horse Hair II Leather can hold your most frequently used pen if you need to access it quickly without opening and closing the zippers. Enjoy the color and texture contrast of Horse Hair II and Ultrasuede® with this functional case. Available in Black with Black Leather, Gray with Navy Leather, Yellow with Gray Leather, and Brown with Green Leather.

Ultrasuede® material as a base

We sourced special material from TORAY corporation based in Tokyo – “innovation by chemistry” is their motto. Ultrasuede® mimics the charming characteristics and texture of suede leather but is made with a combination of synthetic and plant-derived recycled materials. It features excellent durability, moderate breathability, and moisture permeability, and is lightweight compared to real suede. The lightweight material didn’t feel stuffy to the touch.

Horse Hair II leather accents

Horse Hair II leather is a revived series from 2017, featuring a hand-scratched expression that mimics horsehair on vegetable-tanned leather, processed in Himeji. Unlike uniform embossing, each horsehair mark shows a different expression, and the texture is reminiscent of the scratch process of the popular “Pueblo” series. If you look closely at the leather, it has a velvety expression. The contrast of Horse Hair II’s raised leather texture with smooth Ultrasuede® is the charm of this combination.
