At this inaugural stationery event hosted by local stationery store Paper and Pencil, the Chicago Stationery Fest hopes to bring together creatives and artists to celebrate the joy of stationery.
The PLOTTER USA team will bring a selection of PLOTTER Leather binders, original refills, accessories, and special items for analog lovers to learn about the PLOTTER system. At Chicago Stationery Fest, the team will be highlighting PLOTTER Leather Binders in Bible Size and Mini 5 Size, allowing fans to explore the myriad of ways to use them.

Limited 6-Ring Leather Binder Unevenly Dyed Cordovan (A5 Size)
Enjoy the unique expression of Unevenly dyed Cordovan Leather, available in a 6-ring Leather Binder in A5 Size. It features leather from ROCADO and is hand-dyed using a sponge to create an uneven expression across the premium Cordovan horse leather.
The technique utilizes two layers of dye, one lighter and one darker, to create a two-toned pattern. Since each piece is dyed individually by hand, each piece has its unique pattern and coloring.
Cordovan is a premium leather type typically utilized in crafting durable boots and footwear, lauded for its durability and patina. The opportunity to utilize it in such a large canvas in leather binder form is rare and hard to come by. The 6-ring Unevenly dyed Cordovan Leather Binder in A5 Size is available in blue, wine, and green.
Limited 6-Ring Leather Binder Unevenly Dyed Cordovan (A5 Size) – $375
In contrast to the colorful exterior, the backside of the leather showcases the natural characteristics that leather collects through the manufacturing process. There will be unique stampings, color patches, and marks that speak to the story of the leather.
*Please note that Cordovan leather is vulnerable to water, humidity, and perspiration. When cordovan gets wet, white water stains-like spots will remain. Also, if left in a wet condition, blisters may occur. This is because water permeates the leather and causes the leather fibers to shrink. Please be careful not to let the leather get wet, as this can cause a significant change in the leather’s appearance. Please be careful of color transfer when the product is kept in close contact with light-colored clothes for a long time in a humid environment.
Limited 5-Ring Leather Binder Pueblo (Mini 5 Square Size)
The Mini 5 Square is a unique expansion of the PLOTTER worldview. It follows the popular Mini 5 Size but is expanded horizontally to a square for more space for writing. The square dimension is a new size that evokes more creativity, while still maintaining versatility for writing on the go. These 5-ring Leather Binders utilize PLOTTER’s iconic Pueblo Leather and will be available at the Chicago Stationery Fest in Wine color, limited in quantity.

People who purchase a Leather Binder in Mini 5 Square will also have the opportunity to purchase Mini 5 Square accessory refills which include a Fastener Case, Lifter with Penholder, and Band with Lifter (limited to 1 each per leather binder, depending on availability).
Mini 5 Square Size Refills in Blue Paper 2mm Grid, Plain, and 2mm Grid layouts will also be available for purchase at the event.
PLOTTER x CARAN D’ACHE 849 Ballpoint Pen
In December 2024, PLOTTER Japan held a joint pop-up store event in Tokyo with CARAN D’ACHE, a long-established Swiss brand of writing instruments whose brand concept is synchronized with PLOTTER.
Their desire to “continue to provide writing and drawing materials that allow users to express their creativity” on a global scale and PLOTTER’s product mindset of “proposing tools for people who pioneer the future with their creativity, so that they can generate their best ideas and give shape to their conception” are very much aligned.
In respect of their history, story, design, and functionality, PLOTTER has developed two new colors of the iconic “849 Ballpoint Pen” by CARAN D’ACHE in a special-order combination, reminiscent of PLOTTTER’s original backplate color in rose gold, which will be available in limited quantities.
This special version has the PLOTTER product concept handwritten on the body of the pen. The slim packaging (metal case) with the brand story handwritten on it will also be included.
