PLOTTER USA team visited this fine writing instrument stationery store from June 2nd – 3rd, 2023 for a PLOTTER Pop-Up. Inside the spacious store, a long table is transformed into a walkway for PLOTTER Leather Binders and special event limited items.
The special Letterpress Printing Refills made with MD 100% Cotton are available for purchase during physical events such as Pop-Ups and pen shows.
PLOTTER fans and new customers alike can ask questions about different leather types, try out Refill Memo Pad paper layouts, and share how they use PLOTTER themselves.
It was inspiring to see the different directions that PLOTTER users take their leather binders and how they utilize them for their daily creative work.
Some PLOTTERs were well-traveled and gained significant patina with use. We love seeing how PLOTTER users customize their leather binders to fit their needs.
At FLAX Pen to Paper’s PLOTTER Pop-up, one-of-a-kind customized leather binders are also available for sale. They are bound with unique pairings of backplates and special leathers only available during events. Pull-Up Leather in brown and Bridle Leather in red are both popular choices during this event.
On Saturday, the PLOTTER Team presented a short seminar about PLOTTER and the basics of “system techo.” This seminar explains the history of ring binder organizers in Japan and how PLOTTER seeks to break the mold and create an efficient way to organize.
In the spirit of co-creation, customers can write and draw on a large piece of canvas made from DP paper. Fans left inspirational notes, sketches, and marks on this idea canvas over the two days of the event.
